Terms & conditions

A booking is confirmed once we reply to your request by WhatsApp or email with a confirmed date and pick-up time. Prices are per person in US dollars and may be paid in Ugandan shillings at the day rate.

We accept mobile money, bank transfer and cash on the day. Full payment is due before you get on the water unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Minimum ages apply per trip: 15 for grade 5, 12 for grade 3 and kayaking, 8 for tubing and 6 for the family float. You must be comfortable in water and declare any medical condition, injury or pregnancy before the trip. We may refuse participation to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, with no refund.

You agree to follow the safety briefing and all instructions from your guide at all times. Guides may change the route, alter the itinerary or end a trip early where river conditions, weather or guest safety require it.

White water rafting, kayaking and tubing carry inherent risk of injury. Every guest signs a liability waiver on the day. Kiira Rafting is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings, or for injury arising from failure to follow guide instructions.

If we must cancel for safety or operational reasons we will offer an alternative date or a full refund. We are not responsible for costs of onward travel or accommodation outside our trips.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
