Grade 5 Rafting

The full Nile experience

Grade 5 Rafting

Our flagship trip starts just 20 minutes outside Jinja town. After the safety briefing we push out above 'Jaws', a big-volume grade 2+ rapid that gets everyone wet, then work our way down roughly 20km of river, taking out below Hair of the Dog. Big, clean, warm-water whitewater with deep pools between each rapid and a full safety team of kayakers and rescue rafts. No experience needed.

Trip highlights

  • Around 20km of river and up to 10 rapids
  • Grade 5 whitewater with softer lines available at every rapid
  • Safety kayakers and rescue rafts on every trip
  • Riverside BBQ, beers and sodas at our base afterwards
  • Bespoke itineraries and pricing for large groups
